DIY Installation
DIY INSTALLATION

Step 1Work out how much grass you'll need. Follow our measuring guides for instructions.

Step 2Dig out your existing lawn to a depth of approximately 70mm.

Step 3Prepare edging if necessary - timber edges are ideal.

Step 4Lay the sub-base of approximately 40mm of hardcore (MOT). Compact with a roller, spade or wacker plate.

Step 5Lay the base of approximately 25mm of sharp sand. Compact with a roller, spade or wacker plate.

Step 6Lay the weed membrane. Leave an overlap of approximately 20mm.

Step 7Lay the grass. Butt up lengths that require joining and leave approximately 20mm overlap at edges.

Step 8Trim the edges with a sharp knife.

Step 9Join if necessary using joining tape and joining adhesive.

Step 10Secure the edges using small, galvanised, artificial grass nails.

Step 11Brush the against the pile direction for the final finished effect.
